Dear Ms. Feverfew –
I made a mistake when I chose adoption for us. I am sorry what I did hurt you so much. I am sorry it has hurt your brothers and sister so much, that I deprived them of knowing you and you of knowing them as siblings. I know I cannot undo what I did, but I can tell you how very sorry I am that I did it.
Much love,
M.

Thanks, Jenn and Myst. I realized today that I don’t think I have ever told Ms. Feverfew “I am sorry” with no reasons, excuses, qualifiers or “buts”. It is one of the things I long to hear from my own mother and her role in my childhood experiences. I just want to make sure I have said it to my own daughter.
What an amazing letter. Simple. Easy. I know this all too well.

Oh how I wish I was your Ms. Feverfew! Sending lots of love, hugs and dandelion wishes to you. Two
Amazing. Love you.
Hugs to you Melynda!
If only I could hear this from my parents. Why is it so hard to say?
(((M))) You are a beautiful person.
